Songsworth is the musical alias of Lauri Järvilehto, Finnish musician, philosopher, author and entrepreneur. Active since 2009, Songsworth’s music is science fiction inspired synthesizer pop. The biggest influences to the music include 1980s synthesizer greats like Jarre and Vangelis and the science fiction stories of Alastair Reynolds and Frank Herbert, as well as Japanese anime, especially the classic TV shows by Leiji Matsumoto.
